As of this Friday (29th November) all reading books will be collected and Oxford word lists will no longer be issued.

Students will still need their reader bag every day for any communication. This will be collected and given to your child’s new teacher in the last week of term.

I will be away on Thursday and Friday 21st and 22nd November, so there will be no spelling test on Friday. We will have our test on Monday 25th after the CSIRO Science session.

Very soon we will stop issuing reading and spelling lists but this does not mean that homework stops. It’s a great time to revise old lists. If your child is confident with all lists from this year, extend them by finding new and more challenging words.

Reading homework continues as normal, and it would be great if you could continue reading together over the holiday period.

We have a Science session run by the CSIRO at 9:15 on Monday 25th November. It would be great to have some parents to assist and guide students throughout the workshop. The session will be approximately 90 minutes. Please let me know if you can help out. Many Thanks.
